35 - Old Enough to be President
In the 1780’s, 35 was old. Most people died by 35, worldwide. The US was probably not far ahead of the world in that regard. So, a 35 year old man was established and stable. And truthfully, you should be pretty much set up by 35 in the modern world as well. According to the Constitution, when you hit the unimaginably ancient age of 35, you are Old Enough to be President. It is something of a milestone.
